IMA is a Centre of Excelence in Research and Development that works with Mathematics and Arts through Technology bringing together DIGITAL IMMERSIVE ENVIRONMENT for companies  and universities. Founded by Donizetti Louro (see more), IMA has improved its goals with the support of vice president Tania Fraga (see more), Directors and collaborators.

  History

The INSTITUTE OF MATHEMATICS AND ART OF SÃO PAULO (IMA) was founded in 1986 and licensed to conduct Education in São Paulo City, São Paulo State, Brazil in 1990. 

  Mission

IMA serves the international community by promoting and documenting work at the interaction of the arts, mathematics and technology, and by encouraging and stimulating collaboration between artists, mathematicians, and technologists. Also the purpose of the Institute of Mathematics and Art of São Paulo - Brazil  (IMA) is to promote Research and Development, Events and Activities in which elements of one discipline are used to shed light on the other are particularly sought. Immersive Education takes most of our time focus on Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science for games, cinema and simulation worlds.
