IMA serves the international community by promoting and documenting work at the interaction of the arts, mathematics and technology, and by encouraging and stimulating collaboration between artists, mathematicians, and technologists. Also the purpose of the Institute of Mathematics and Art of São Paulo - Brazil  (IMA) is to promote Research, Development, Consultancy, Courses, Publications, Movies, Events and activities in which elements of one discipline are used to shed light on the other are particularly sought. Immersive Education (Teaching and Learning) takes most of our time focus on the children learning mathematics and sciences through arts, using hands on materials or computers task.
